The weather turned out to be o.k. after heavy rain in the morning - as the weather is fine on any given Sketchcrawl ;-)

In the end, I didn't have the time to do a day-time-crawl. So I chose to do a MovieCrawl and had the chance to watch the 1985 released "A Passage to India" -- based upon E.M.Fosters novel -- on DVD.

So, these are some scenes taken from the very slow movie -- not as slow as one might believe though it was about 157 minutes long.

Santa Entangled

Did this one about a year ago in Dortmund - foreseeing, that my next Christmas-Time will be closer to the sea. The booth's owner sold fish and had this Santa caught in his fish-light-net, you normally catch Christmas or other trees with ... I tried some colouring this time.

SC 11 - The Big Picture

It seems, every other Sketchcrawl a certain subject comes to my pens ... last time,, on SC #5 (Pakistani Relief SC) I had oillamps and other cans or pots. This time, it happened after a while, that I mainly drew and drew my attention to people's bags ;-)
Well, if you want to see them detailed, please click on the pictures. I only could draw all of them within a range of two to five minutes as I was sitting at crossing first and later on at the main railway station forecourt ... and please do not forget to watch out for the rest of us at SC-Forum!

A new idea in the making, the SketchCrawl-Blog: a communal blog with different contributors. Focused on sharing everything about drawing out there in the field. Ranging from materials discussion: a new favorite sketchbook? a new find of a pencil? A great folding stool? -to thoughts, questions and even polls about sketching and journaling. What’s your favorite place to go sketch? What invariably catches yours and your pencil attention ?

Sketchrawl Route

... after having taken a tour somewhere up in the sky, I got a good cloud-covered overview to mark the tour we can take: From the southern to the northern municipalities. It's about three kilometers walking distance. We'll see, where we can stop ... there are a lot of cafés ;-)

I will start at 10:00 a.m. at the underground station "Saarlandstraße" - see us there?
